JWOC Related Info: On Sunday 6th November the JWOC athletes will be challenged in a Long distance in Carapito.
First start will be at 9h30. The prize giving ceremony and closing ceremony is provisionally scheduled to 15h50.
To warm-up their supporting spirit, before JWOC Long distance TOUR runners will be challenged with a tricky Sprint in Carapito, the map used for JWOC Sprint and Sprint Relay in July.

Terrain: Typical small village from the centre of Portugal. The area has a moderate climb (for a sprint race). Most of the roads are very small and narrow. No asphalt on most of the roads. Athletes can expect pavê (granite blocks) instead.

Driving to the Arena Carapito parking: To reach Arena Carapito parking it is not mandatory, but preferred, to follow Organizer’s instructions (arrows from the Event Center to Arena Carapito), otherwise there is a high risk of overcrowd the small village of Carapito. Preferably arrival to Arena Carapito parking should be done from West side – at N330 road, drivers must take the exit “Eirado” & “Carapito”, as indicated by Organizer’s arrows.
Parking to Arena: Walking distance between 1000 and 1400 meters. The way from parking to Arena will be marked using arrows.
